Nepal is well known for its magnificent landscapes, and our photo tours also offer an exciting ensemble of historical, cultural and religious places of interest, including several UNESCO World Heritage sites. We go out of our way to explore medieval kingdoms, pagodas, temples and hillside villages, with a particular emphasis on encountering the diverse local cultures of the ethnic people of Nepal. The country is full of outstanding sights, but we go beyond most other photography tours by building into our itinerary opportunities for you to meet people and engage with them as they live their daily lives in markets, towns, their homes, temples and the countryside. The big surprise for most people is just how rich and diverse the culture of Nepal is.
